HAWA Engineering P.C. has been commissioned to conduct analysis and develop a full design set alongside providing its construction management services for a new-build commercial development on Long Island consisting of four shops including a dedicated parking lot.

The structure consists of a lightweight steel frame supported by a concrete spread footing and foundation walls. All shops within the development contain one above-ground floor alongside a basement.

As of May 2024, all building code/survey analyses alongside a full set of architectural, structural, energy, and MEP drawings have been developed and approved. The structure is currently in its construction phase with steel framing nearing completion.
